THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY

Today is the Feast of Mary, the Mother of our Lord.   Originally a day to observe the dormition of Mary, the ancient church's belief that Mary never died, but was bodily assumed directly into heaven.   In the Lutheran Church today it is more simply a day to honor Mary as a saint and model for us all.
